hi i am zach i chose the career of a detective. There are many places where you can do this. But you usally do the most in big cities where crimes happen For say Ney York. Alot of the time a detective has there offices out side of a big city in a suberb. You work for the police obviously because you need to become a luitenit in a police officer first But you probly dont know what that is so to put it in eaysier words. you need to be the best police officer. When you are a detective you usaually where plain clothes unike police officer uniforms with big heavy clothes. They sometimes need bullet proof vests incase there is a shooting. And ruber gloves for not getting finger prints on anything while investigating. There ane many hours involved in being a detectives and a wied varitey of hours. Like most jobs you can work 9am to 5 pm or you can work for 40 hours a week. In those hours you try and solve crimes on murders or anything that is big like someone dieing. Before you can become a detective, you will first need to qualify and work as a regular police officer. you also need a high school diploma. But some police departments need 1 or 2 years in collage or university. Once you have been accepted to a police force as a new officer, you will need to complete a period of basic training before getting your first task. When are you are a detective you have many responsibilities. One posible senario is if you dont find the man or woman who commeted a murder and kills five people your responsible for those other five deaths. Another resonsibility is solving crimes. And to find justis in all whom been raped and murdered. You make a large span of money. When you are a detective you make 70,000 to 90,000 dollars a year. When you are a senior detective you make 90,000 to 120,000 dollars a year. When you are a detective any one can be your clients because if someone needs help triying to figure out who killed someone anyone can hire him or she. There are many people who do this job one really well know is sherlock holmes. As you can see in the reading above thid job is perfect. Perfect Perfect everything thats why i chose this job. But if i become a detective i want to solve lots of crimes to save peoples lives and i will make sure everyone is safe.
