Body armor or a bullet proof vests are designed to prevent injuries to  sensitive organs found in your chest and abdominal area. Body armor is protective layer over the chest and slows the bullet down and disperses the energy over a larger area. This is possible due to the many layers of man-made fabrics. If you’re shot by a bullet, you will immediately feel like you have been hit by a hammer but you will be breathing to complain about it.

In past years bullet proof vests have been deemed very uncomfortable, hot, and restriction of movement.  But with new technology in fabrics, manufacturing processes, and testing, ballistic panels have become very flexible and cool to wear.  This technology should give all police officers no excuse to not wearing their bulletproof vests.

Bullet proof vests has saved the lives of many people, mainly those who are operational in the defense services and law-enforcing services. Since many of those who were saved attested to the vests capability to safeguard fragments of fired handguns and shotguns, these shielding articles were tagged to be bulletproof vests.

There are many sites out there that sell body armor and bulletproof vests but there is only one Bulletproof Body Armor HQ.   Bulletproof Body Armor HQ is a leader in bulletproof vest information and technology in Military and Tactical supplies. If you or anyone you know is in the market for some body armor please send them to the HQ.

I’ve been looking into buying a level IIIA or higher bullet/stab proof vest, and I can’t find any that I’m really interested in. Does anyone know a good place to buy something like this? I’m really looking for a site though.

I am looking for a Glock attatchment that looks like metal clips that attatch to the back and runs down the side of the gun to attatch it to my bullet-proof vest (they just clip onto the velcro strap), I’ve seen other officers that have these and I can’t find them anywhere… I have a kangaroo holster now and my backup (Glock 19) falls out into my shirt when I bend over to search vehicles (hate it, do not buy!)… any help would be appericiated!

I was out at a hole-in-the-wall bar in Austell, GA (Cobb County). Outside there were approximately 3-4 government looking vehicles (Dodge Chargers) with the letters U.S.A.P.A written on the side. The men checking the IDs before entry had the same identification on their gray uniforms (not to mention, they were heavily protected with bullet-proof vests). They carried guns, but I had never heard of the law enforcement agency before.

When I was inside, one of the officers came into the club, and I took him aside and asked what exactly APA stood for. He responded that it stood for the US Asset Protection Agency and they have been around for 1.5 years. I asked him what they did, and he essentially say we serve to protect government assets.

A search of the internet for any combination of USAPA, US Asset Protection Agency, or the like came up with only the Army Publishing Agency.

Ever since that night, I haven’t found anything, and it bugs me, because they were so heavily armed and protected and there was a HUGE presence of them. If anyone has any information to offer, I would greatly appreciate it.
